Mumbai, Oct 22: Kareena Kapoor Khan will not be observing a fast on the auspicious day of Karwa Chauth as she does not believe it will prove anything.
She said fasting wouldn't prove her love for her husband, actor Saif Ali Khan. A brand ambassador for Malabar Gold and Diamond, Kareena said this at the launch of their online store in Mumbai. She opined that online shopping saves her a lot of time and personally she prefered light jewellery.
She also professed that gold and diamonds were the ultimate fashion statement in jewellery.
Actors Saif and Kareena recently completed their first year of marriage on the 16th of October, 2013.
Kareena expresed that being from the Kapoor family, food was important and she would rather spend the day eating and working on promoting her film.
Her movie Gori Tere Pyaar Main is set to release on 22 November, this year.
