Shanthi Prakashana releases brochure to mark 25th year

Shanthi Prakashana, a publishing house established under Jamaat-e-Islami Hind organization released a brochure on the upcoming activities as part of its silver jubilee celebration on Thursday October 24 at Unity Healthcare Centre.

Mohammed Kunhi, director of Shanthi Prakashana, delivered the welcome speech and said, “Shanthi Prakashana has for the past several years worked towards humanity for Kannada people and their culture irrespective of their caste or community.”
 
“Shanthi Prakashana will hold a campaign from November 1 to November 30, 2013, and under this campaign we will conduct programmes such as book discussions, publishers’ meet, panel discussion, cultural shows, and seminars for women empowerment and upliftment,” he added.
 
After releasing the brochure, the chief guest of the programme Dr C P Habeeb Rehman, chairman of Unity Healthcare, said, “We are in a conceptualized age where acquired knowledge and divine knowledge exist. An organization sustains only on divine knowledge.”
 
“Shanthi Prakashana has been prominent in delivering divine knowledge. It has been extensively working towards the growth of the society; various communities, religious leaders, political leaders, and prominent people have been a part of this organization,” he added.
 
J M Sharif, state advisory of Shanthi Prakashana, Devraj, and other members of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind were present on the occasion.
