Health Camp to be held at Father Muller Hospital, Thumbay on Oct 26

Mangalore, Oct 25: Father Muller Hospital,Thumbay, in association with Lions Club and Lioness Club, Bantwal will organize a free health check up and medical camp on October 26.

The camp will be held at the Hospital at Thumbay from 9 am to 3 pm. The patients at the camp will be given free consulting in-medicine, gynecology, pediatrics, dermatology, and other departments- by the specialists from the Father Muller Medical College Hospital, Kankanady Mangalore.

The camp will also give consultation on Blood Pressure, Diabetes, Gynecological disorders, screening for breast and uterus cancer, and diagnosis of skin disorders. Physical fitness and cholesterol check up will also be done at the camp.

Father Muller Hospital, Thumbay, is a well-equipped multispecialty hospital with 100 beds. On the same day at 9 am, District-In-charge minister Ramanath Rai will be inaugurating newly installed CT Scanner and computerized X- Ray, well-equipped Auto Lab Analyzer, will be opened to the service.A residential building will also be inaugurated.

Dr Aloysius P D’Souza, Bishop of Mangalore, will be presiding over the function and Ahmed Haji Mohiuddin will be guest of honour.

The out patient department will be open daily from 8:30 am to 1pm and 2 pm to 5 pm, with specialist doctors available for consultation.

Recently the Homeopathic department was added to the benefit of the patients.
