Madhuri's dance academy now on mobile phones


New Delhi, Oct 27 (IANS): Now fans can learn dance from actress Madhuri Dixit by just downloading "DancewithMadhuri" app on their handsets.

Her online dance academy "DancewithMadhuri.com" is available on mobile phones and for tablet users on iOS and Android.

The application takes full advantage of every device's abilities and make the learning and sharing experience intuitive and seamless.

"The App makes the experience more accessible to dance lovers and health enthusiasts alike, who could learn and stay fit and enjoy dance on the go and at their own pace," Madhuri said in a statement.

"More importantly, it is an effort to build a global community of dancers and dance enthusiasts linked by the academy who can learn from me and my colleagues and each other, as well as compete for rewards and get discovered," she added.

The "DancewithMadhuri.com" website was launched in February by Madhuri and RnM Moving Pictures.

'Shaadi Ke...' trailer to release Monday

Actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar is upbeat about the trailer release of his upcoming movie "Shaadi Ke Side Effects". It will be out Monday.

"Back in Mumbai. 'Shaadi Ke Side Effects' the film trailer breaks tomorrow (Monday)... What fun! Stay tuned for the link going up tomorrow evening," Farhan, who is teamed up with Vidya Balan in the film, posted on Twitter.

Directed by Saket Chaudhary, the film is a sequel to the 2006 hit movie "Pyaar Ke Side Effects" that starred Mallika Sherawat and Rahul Bose as a couple.

The film will come out Feb 14 next year.

Ram Gopal Varma's confession

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma recently praised Pakistani movie "Waar", but confessed that he saw it on pirated DVD.

"For those asking how I got to see 'Waar', I must confess and apologize that I saw pirated (DVD) as I was unable to resist after hearing about it from many here," Varma tweeted Sunday.

"Waar" is directed by Bilal Lashari and RGV has requested him to send the copy of the movie to all Indian filmmakers.

"Director Bilal Lashari should do a favour and send copies of his film 'Waar' to all us Indian film makers," he tweeted.
