Mangalore, Oct 27:
With a view to pledge their support to BJP's prime ministerial candidate, Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi and create awareness of their leader's achievements, the NaMo Brigade organized a splendid 'NaMo Bharath' musical narration of about two hours at Central (Nehru) Maidan here on Sunday, October 27.

Joining hands with the NaMo Brigade, the rickshaw drivers took out a procession from Ambedkar circle to the Maidan prior to the event. Nearly 500 auto rickshaws, along with a number of two-wheelers and four-wheelers took part in the procession.

The ceremonial lamp was lit by the the rickshaw drivers. The musical story was narrated and performed by Chakravarthy Sulibele and the team of Jago Bharath.

NaMo Bharath narrated the achievements of Narendra Modi as CM of Gujarat and why the country needs him as its leader, and also the history of the nation and the way the Congress party was formed. Sulibele explained that Congress was actually formed by the British and it was supposed to be dissolved after Independence, but that has still not been done. "Rahul Gandhi has been speaking about the past, but Narendra Modi has been speaking about the present and the future. There are nearly 200 days for the declaration of the PM, but the people of our nation have already chosen Narendra Modi as the next PM, and it is clearly seen by the NaMo Flame that has been lit around the nation," Sulibele said.

Sulibele further pointed out at the corruption in the Congress-led government and its leader, the black money in the Swiss Bank, mystery behind the deaths of Lal Bahadur Shastri and Subhash Chandra Bose and so on.

Patriotic songs by NaMo Brigade was another highlight of the evening.

Various leaders including Capt Ganesh Karnik, Yogish Bhat, Nagaraj Shetty, Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat, M B Puranik, Sharan Pumpwell and many others were present. Thousands of NaMo supporters took part in this massive event.

A nice thing to see. Whenever Modi name comes all so called seculars ( trying to kill & defame hindus) all frogs start croaking & dogs start barking. But there is a say goes ' A dogs barking cannot harm the gods heaven'.
Karnataka Congress won bcuz bjp has lost its integrity . And now people who voted to congress slowly realising the truth of congress and not able to blame anybody bcuz everything s over now.
My all wishes with MODI and team. Modi is peoples PM hence people only are working hard for him to bcum PM. This is making some people JEALOUSY . Sorry for them :-P
Jai Modi, Namo Bharath Nirman Continues..Jai 'Hindusthan'.

Looking at way congress has performed during last 10 years, change is always welcome and Modi may be the right candidate looking at his performance in Gujarat. But Modi is not accepted by many people and allies and also few within BJP. I feel Manohar Parikkar (Goa CM) would have been better candidate, who also has a good performance record and who would have been accepted by all communities. But the real problem with BJP is these external outfits which always create undue influence on proper governance and try to control the government. Jobless and uneducated youths join these outfits and create social havoc and ruling party will not be able to do anything, since these outfits support big time during elections. The result is that these outfits then start among other things moral policing, dictating dress code for women, spying in parks/ malls/ theatres, traffic obstructions due to frequent rallies and so on.

What is required now is change, and for some people change is nothing but Modi. But change could be appointing a good MP in a constituency irrespective of political parties, i.e. a MP who could properly use money allocated to his constituency, as lots of money gets allocated to a constituency. BJP MPs have hardly done anything during last 20 years, inspite of crores being allocated to Mangalore. And it will not change if they get elected again, whoever becomes the PM at the centre. Look at developments in Bangalore/ Hyderabad/ Gujarat under SM Krishna, Naidu and Modi all from different political parties. So it shows how much difference it makes appointing a good candidate in your own constituency.

Organisers of this Namo Bharath event have against proved the point that RSS people have no brain.Because this even is totally a Hindu event,RSS event and not in line with Namo vision.Namo vision never ever envisaged OM flags or suffrom shaws or T shirts or flags in the meeting. This type meeting does more harm than benifit to Namo movement.Perhapes Modi might not be knowing the mood of the Mangaloreans. Here every thing is mis conceived, mis represented and more over, people are over ambitious and over confident. These theories could be only available with RSS camps at Kalladka who nominates illiterates to MP seat, corrupts to MLA seat. They even forgotten/failed to understand/analyse the rsult of recently held Assy elections,Local body elections and still under the kick of their own hidden agenda which made BJP to eat the dust. These people might not be seeing TV news/news paper and observed yesterdays mega rally at Gandhi Maidan at Patna by Modi and understood the mood of the people. There were no suffron flags,OM flags in the meeting.I feel that Namo Bharath Rayy is a managed by mischievous elements who are against Modi becoming PM.These people also knows well that Modi does not depend on RSS,like Manohar Parikkar in Goa and even then drawn their own line of thing in oraganising the rally.Modi's concern is not Hindus along but he talks the the country as a whole about his vision.Whether a muslim participant in the rally(though they are nearly NIL here in the rally)expected to hold a OM suffron flag? I fail to understand the thinking.Modi in his own interest should direct the Namo brigades in the country to be more liberal in coming days if he really wants to libertae the country from corrupt Congress rule.

Loolking at the people siting in first row seems it is a new born baby (NAMO BHARATH) OF BJP. As they cannot market Modi as secular, for his 2002 deeds.
This show desperation of BJP, and helplessness they have to create a new organisation to garner public support rather sympathy. shame shame.., BJP will always be communial , thrive on Hatred politics, devide and rule. This 2014 will be DO or DIE for them.

The NAMO Virus is actually created by Congress. The decades of vote bank appeasing of congress is actually unifying the divided majorty people of India. Congress first divided the country to place their leader at the helm, they then divided people to garner votes, starting appeasing one section of the society to garner the votes. Now, we are seeing many staunch supporters of congress are slowly leaning towards NAMO. media have started taking note of Mr. Namo. Times Now had interviews Mr. Amit Shah and aired it on a prime time. it is congress to be blamed. when congress could take white and green together .. why do they want to leave the saffron behind. why were they creating a kind of stigma on a saffron and only the mistakes of saffron highlighted. didnt green do any mistakes in the country? isnt white not doing any mischeif in the country? Unless, congress learns from it's mistake and correct it and take all the section of people in to their fold - we will see many more cults like Namo in the country. It is really painful - we need both congress and bjp as principal national party in the country and do not want any namo kind of cult. Both the parties must take all the sections of the society along with them. If one leans left another will surely lean towards right and it is detrimental for the growth of the country. I likes Mr. U T Khaders statement today - Pateints and Spirituality is the need of the hour. and I add not the religious divison. This must be practiced by everyone.

We have seen many intellectual people here in this forum who hates this kind of rallies organized by RSS or BJP in our region. Don’t worry those all friends, we don’t require your communal votes in BJP’s favour. Keep your vote in safe custody of CONGiss Party Office. If anybody voted for BJP till date which I doubt, pls come forward to take back those votes from Election Commissioners Office. We need those people vote for BJP who shoulder themselves to build the Nation but not vying people who always looks for quota, freebies, grants and donation

Is there a provision like that in the Constitution? Or is it also another misinformation like the various "Castles in the air" like statements given by Mr. Modi?

My dear people, do not get carried away by the crowds! Modi is exploiting the religious sentiments of innocent/ignorant and largely illiterate people. This is what we call a mob mentality. People just follow one another like sheep without thinking or reasoning. We are a multi cultural, secular democracy and we want all religions to live in peace, harmony and without fear. Under Modi's rule this will be just a dream as he is clearly autocratic, communal and fanatic. He will be busy with fake encounters, destroying muslims, fighting with neighbours and false claims of development. He does not respect his own wife and has no family values in life. Now he is providing lip service to muslims just for the vote bank. So let us not worry which party comes to power but we want a good human being as our PM but NEVER someone like Modi.

How come Mr. Ivan D'souza's "Auto-Rickshaw Drivers" are singing the NaMo song? Something fishy!
By the way, Mr.Sulibele, can you please enlighten me as to what the BJP-led-NDA Government did to bring the so-called Black Money back to India? And speaking of Black Money, we ourselves buy land and apartments paying Black and White money to the Real Estate Mafia. So aren't we also equally responsible for all the Black Money being deposited in Swiss Banks?
You say "Congress was actually formed by the British". Whom are you fooling? What you said is known to a III Standard kid! What about the Army, Navy and Air Force? Weren't all these also formed by the British? What a ridiculous argument!
Please do not compare "Governing Gujarat" with "Governing India". India cannot be governed using Facebook or Twitter. The PR agency hired by NaMo is indeed doing a good job, but they can thrive only in the virtual world. When they enter the real world they are going to face serious "Syntax Errors"!!!

Do we want to see a person of Modi's Rhetoric as a PM of India. I can tell you, he can speak poetically in Hindi and arouse people he will falter terribly if he ever speaks in Guj English. He will never be able to keep India United he will never be able to maintain good relations with Foreign Countries. The language he speaks is of a ordinary person. His personal attacks does not reflect the fibre of a Good Indian PM. India will be in shambles if this man leads India. Any one else from BJP - Arun jaitley for e.g. will be a better choice with vast knowledge in Indian History, Legal understanding of the Indian Constitution and more over a well and dignified speaker. All these BJP rallies are done all over India to try and win the next election if they lose it for the third time, their grass root followers will desert them for ever. So, this is the only opportunity they have to put up Rickshaw and moto-bike shows.

We had 60 years CONGiss ruling by adopting divide and rule tactics. As long as these Leaders not indulge themselves in dividing the society and pleasing few particular communities, support those thugs who attack human beings, why not BJP? We need change, so we need BJP as alternative to CONGiss.

At present, Mr Modi is a sole & most capable leader. I think most people have wrong assessment about his nature including his own sanghe’s. According to me he seems as a maximalist rather than fanatic.

I would like Mr. Sulibele to clarify who would lead the nation in that critical period if the Congress was dissolved since according to him it was formed by the British. In this article he too refers to only the past events such as the deaths of LBS, SCB. Bringing back the black money from Swiss banks etc. please enlighten us on these two deaths if you are aware. About black money from Swiss Banks, BJP ruled India for 5 years, and they had sufficient time to bring all the money back and make known the names of culprits. Why was this not done?

Reminds one of the Brown Shirts or SA which was notorious in bringing Hitler to Power. They justified the means to violence in the name of Nationalism & Religion. Such organisations should be banned. Nothing good comes from these people and will lead to a lot of disharmony among the citizens.
"The Sturmabteilung (SA) functioned as the original paramilitary wing of the Nazi Party. It played a key role in Adolf Hitler's rise to power in the 1920s and 1930s.Their main assignments were providing protection for Nazi rallies and assemblies, disrupting the meetings of the opposing parties, fighting against the paramilitary units of the opposing parties (esp. the Rotfrontkämpferbund) and intimidating Jewish citizens (e.g. the Nazi boycott of Jewish businesses).".

As per the recent TOI survey, there is no Modi wave in 14 major states which contribute majority of the Lok Sabha seats. That means Modi becoming PM depends on the support of regional parties which are unlikely to support him. It is only a hype created by these people and after the elections NAMO brigade will vanish at the same speed at which it was created.
