Bachchan appreciates gifts from 'KBC' contestants


Mumbai, Oct 28 (IANS): Megastar Amitabh Bachchan appreciates the handmade gifts presented to him by contestants on the game show "Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) 7".

He said the contestants not only bring along their spirit of competition, "but also their spirit of giving".

"They hand make gifts by the dozens and I cannot simply put them away in disrespect," Big B posted on his blog late Sunday night.

Not only does he admire them, but responds to them as well.

"I store them, look at them, admire their affection and effort, respond to them," the 71-year-old added.

Madhuri's best songs canned at night

She may not like shooting after sunset, but Madhuri Dixit confesses that some of her best songs were shot at night.

The actress is currently shooting for director Abhishek Chaubey's "Dedh Ishqiya".

"The shoot for the last song of 'Dedh Ishqiya' starts tonight. Don't like night shoots, but my best songs were shot at night," Madhuri posted on Twitter Monday.

A sequel to the 2010 "Ishqiya", "Dedh Ishqiya" also features Arshad Warsi, Naseeruddin Shah and Huma Qureshi.

Video games make you feel worthy: SRK

Shah Rukh Khan is a gizmo freak and apparently he invests a lot of his time in playing video games.

The actor took to Twitter to talk about his current favourite, Arkham Origins, a game based on superhero Batman.

"Arkham Origins...the boys and me are going to own you. Night long sessions in progress. Nothing like a good video game to make you feel worthy!" he posted on the microblogging site Monday.

The actor was last seen in Rohit Shetty's "Chennai Express", which did the business of Rs.200 crore.
