Udupi, Nov 5: A public blessing of vehicles was held at 9:30 am on Monday November 4 at Sri Kshetra Bantakallu on the auspicious eve of Deepavali Balipadya.
B Srikanth Bhat, priest of the Kshetra conducted the religious act. B Ramananda Marate assisted.
The programme held under the aegis of Rajapura Saraswatha youth wing was attended by Sadambail Shashidhar Wagle, president of the managing committee of the Kshetra, members Devadas Patkar Mudarangadi, Umesh Prabhu Palame, Youth wing president Anantaram Wagle, former president K R Patkar, Secretary Amrith Nayak, former secretary Umesh Patkar, members and people. More than forty vehicles were blessed in the programme.
