Delhi boy stabbed to death over a petty issue


New Delhi, Nov 8 (IANS): A boy was stabbed to death by his friend over a petty issue here, police said Friday.

Ashok, 18, was stabbed by his friend Roni, 22, in west Delhi's Bawana area Thursday night.

Ashok had gone to a nearby market with some of his friends. Roni joined Ashok in the market and after a quarrel over a petty issue, he stabbed Ashok and fled.

"The victim was rushed to a hospital where he died of his injuries," said a police officer.

"After lodging a case as per the statement of Ashok's friends, Roni was arrested Friday morning from his hideout in the Bawana area," said the officer.
