Udupi: Mundala Mahasabha (R) community meet concludes

Udupi, Nov 12: “After the state government’s projects like ‘Anna Bhagya’ and ‘Ksheera Bhagya’, the administration is planning to provide sites to homeless people,” said Vinay Kumar Sorake, Udupi district in-charge minster.

He was speaking after inaugurating the Mundala Mahasabha(R) and Mass Mundala community meet at the new Marigudi temple in Kaup.

Kodli Mahasansthana Mutt Swami Ma Ni Shri Siddaveera blessed the occasion.

Kota Shrinivas Poojary, in his address, said “Government financial grants which are reserved for SC/ST and Mundala community are not utilized properly. Hence, it is necessary that the community should emphasize on the issue.”

Kachur Sri Maldhi Temple chief secretary, Mundala Mahasabha’s honorary president Gokul Das Barkooru presided on this occasion. Thinker Bharath S Karkera presented the prominence address.

Mundala Mahasabha emblem was released by former MLA Lalaji R Mendon while Suresh P Shetty  Gurume inaugurated the website. Vasanth Salian distributed the financial aid.

On this occasion, former MLA Raghupathi Bhat, JD(S) district president Deviprasad Shetty, Kachur Babbu Swami temple representatives Jinappa Mulky, D Jaganath, J Eshwar, Talooru rama, Kamalaksha, retired Tahshildhar P Babbanna, Sudhama Shetty, Anantha Mavadi, Bhaskar Padubidri, Kaup grampanchayath president Usha Shenoy, Mallikarjuna, Honayya T, R ajanava, Madhava, Ramesh, Jagadish, Mohan, Monappa Adyapadi, Vaman Salian, Krishna Kolambe, Babu, and Nursy were present on the occasion. 

 Shivaraj Mallar welcomed while chief secretary Krishnappa Master presented the keynote address. S S Prasad Babu Bantakal thanked. K K Pejawar Mangalore compered.
