Kundapur: Suspected Heroin traders granted bail

Kundapur, Nov 12: The special court of Udupi has given conditional bail to suspects arrested for transporting heroin costing Rs 1 crore.

The excise department officials had arrested Sudhir Hegde of Kharvikere and Diwaker Hegde of Bhatkal Shirali on April 18, 2013 at a hotel in Hemmadi at Kundapur taluk for possession of Rs 1 crore worth of heroin. 

The raid was conducted after receiving reliable information.  The presence of heroin was confirmed with the help of test kit.

The defense lawyer Ravikiran Murdeshwar had argued in favor of the suspects requesting for bail saying that no charge sheet has been submitted to the court.  The court which heard the argument has given conditional bail to the suspects.

    WHY THE POLICE DELAY IN FILING CHARGESHEET IS TO BE INVESTIGATED FIRST? WHAT IS HM/COMMISSIONER CONCERNED IS DOING ? IT SEEMS EVERY BODY IS GETTING THEIR SHARE TO KEEP MUM AND ONE DAY HM WILL SAY PM'S READYMADE DIALOGUE OF "FILE IS MISSING" THIS IS WHAT CONGI'S RULE TO PROTECT CRIMINALS.
