Kasargod: Man stabs younger brother to death

Kasargod, Nov 14: A man allegedly stabbed his younger brother to death in a state of drunken stupor. The incident occurred in Kiyoor of Bekal police station limits here on Tuesday November 12 night.

The victim has been identified as S Beenu (35), son of late Sudhakar and Radha couple, residents of Keeyur fisheries colony.  His elder brother Narayana is said to have committed the murder.

The incident occurred at around 10 pm.  Narayana used to get drunk every night and cause commotion.  When he came home on Tuesday night, Beenu was watching TV.  There was heated argument between the brothers, and in a fit of rage, Narayana smashed the TV and stabbed Beenu in the stomach with the broken glass piece of the TV screen.  

A seriously injured Beenu was rushed to Kasargod hospital by the locals and the family but his life could not be saved.

Narayana is said to be absconding and police are on the lookout for him.

Bekal police have registered a case. The body was shifted to Pariyaram Medical College hospital for post mortem.

    Drink responsibly. Keep in mind that If you drink excess water also not good for health.
