Kundapur, Nov 15: At the recent district level competitions held under the aegis of Udupi district administration, Udupi Zilla panchayat, Youth empowerment and sports department, Udupi district and Sri Gurujyothi Sports club, Gangolli, Shruthi B Kharvi, a student of S V Pre university college of Gangolli has participated and won first prizes in Hindustani music and harmonium and has been selected for state level competitions.
She has also bagged first prize in the Rangoli and singing competition held by Sri Sharadotsava Samithi and Sri Sharada Music and Lalithakala academy, Basrur as part of Sharadotsava celebrations. Shruthi is the daughter of Geetha and B Ganesh Kharvy couple of Basrur.
