Laksha Deepotsava at Krishna Math provides visual treat

Udupi, Nov 15: Laksha Deepotsava began at Sri Krishna Math on Thursday November 14 night along with Tepotsava and Rathotsava.

Paryaya Shree Sodhe Vadiraj Math, Shree Pejavara, Shree Palemaru, Shree Krishnapura were present during the Ksheerabdhi, Utsava and Hanathe rituals in the evening.

The entire temple was beautifully decorated with earthen lamps, providing a visual treat for devotees who visited the Temple in huge numbers.

Tulasi Damodar Puja and Vishishta Sankeerthane were held at Shree Krishna Sannidhi. In the Mantap, between the Madhwa Sarovar, idol of the main deity of the temple was placed. After Shreepada Swamiji offered Chamara Seve, Ratri Puja, Prarthane, Navagraha Daana, the idol of lord Sri Krishna was brought out after a gap of 4 months for the Tepotsava and Rathotsava.

The Deepotsava celebration was flagged offby lighting the Deepastamba in the Math.
