Los Angeles, Nov 17 (IANS): Singer Lily Allen has said she is a hands-on mother as she makes sure she is home in time to "do dinner and bathtime" for her daughters.
The 28-year-old has daughters Ethel, two, and Marnie, 10 months, with husband Sam Cooper.
"I generally try to get back at 4 p.m. or 5 p.m. and do dinner and bathtime and the things that normal mums do,” femalefirst.co.uk quoted Allen as saying.
However, she says she struggled to "connect" with herself after the birth of Marnie and found it more difficult than it was after her first daughter.
"It wasn't until I stopped breastfeeding that I started to connect with myself again. It was much harder than in the past,” said Allen.
