Aadi and I have matured as actors since 'Lovely': Shanvi

Chennai, Jan 7 (IANS): Southern actress Shanvi Srivastav, who has teamed up with Aadi Pudipeddi for the second time in upcoming Telugu romance "Pyaar Me Padipoyane", feels both of them have matured as actors since their last outing "Lovely" in the same language.

In "Pyaar Me Padipoyane", she plays a singer.

"It could be called a musical love story a la 'Aashiqui 2'. We have completed about 50 percent of the talkie portion," she said.

"I feel both of us have changed a lot since 'Lovely'. We have matured as actors even though we did only one film individually since our last film together. We are much confident now because of everything we learnt while working together for 'Lovely'," Shanvi told IANS.

She admits that Aadi has improved a lot.

"I can see a huge change in him (Aadi). He has improved a lot and that encourages me to work harder. We know our strengths and weakness by now and that has become our biggest advantage of working together," she said.

Pointing out one of her weaknesses, she said, "He is trained dancer and I'm not. Therefore, when it comes to dance, he helps me with the steps," said Shanvi.

She also said that there's some degree of pressure on them.

"We have been declared as a hit pair. This has certainly increased the audience's expectations and we have to live up to that. We do feel pressure," she added.

When quizzed about link up rumours with Aadi, she said, "I know people cook up these things when you work with the same actor again. But luckily no such rumours have surfaced so far. I would like to keep it that way."
