Mumbai, May 24: Sachin Tendulkar left on Tuesday night for London to consult the British doctor, who operated his right shoulder in March.
Tendulkar, who was ruled out of the four-Test series in the West Indies earlier on Tuesday morning as he was not yet fit, is to seek Dr Andrew Wallace's advice about his recovery process.
"There is still weakness in my arm and I am still not ready to compete at the international level", Tendulkar said, on Tuesday.
He was scheduled to undergo a fitness test, but preferred to skip it even as fellow Mumbai teammate Wasim Jaffer was given a rigourous test in steamy conditions after his shin operation in April.
Tendulkar was operated on March 27, less than a week after playing in the last third Test against England here.
