More UAE support for Syrian refugees

Beirut, April 4 (IANS/WAM): The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation (KF), in cooperation with the United Arab Emirates embassy in Lebanon, is working to provide relief for displaced Syrians in various Lebanese areas.

The new initiative, which comes within the continuous UAE support for Syrian refugees, includes material assistance such as dates, blankets, clothing and shoes, as well as school textbooks which arrived in Lebanon through five huge containers from the KF for the displaced Syrians.

A KF delegation will oversee the distribution of materials which started Thursday and will benefit thousands of displaced Syrian families.
