Mangalore, Jun 12: A new wing for children, Chinmaya Balavihar, has been constituted by the Chinmaya Mission with the purpose of providing special education to children between 9 and 15 years, said a press release issued here.
The release further stated that around 25-30 children get together at a certain place every week and learn life skills. The aim is to help a child develop his/her personality in a spontaneous manner. The lessons will focus on handling emotional stress, developing good conduct, intellectual capacities and spiritual awareness through play, stories and bhajans.
Some of the unique features include talks concerning topics of children's interests, competitions and organised study.
Classes will be for an hour on every Saturday 4 pm.
