Udupi, Jun 13: Prohibitory orders under Section 144 are in force till Tuesday midnight at Kotathattu-Padukere village in Kota police station limits following group clashes.
A total of 10 persons have been arrested in this connection. The prohibitory orders are clamped in Kodi Kanyana, Parampalli Padukare, Kotathattu Padukare, Kota- Padukare and Manur Padukare areas.
A peace meeting was called which was presided over by Superintendent of Police Subramanyeswara Rao.
The police have arrested Mujeeb Kotthattu, Abdul Azeez, Abdul Kundapur, Imtiaz Padukare, Raju Parampalli, Nagesh Parampalli, Shankar Marakala and Ashok Kumar. Two others have also been arrested on Monday Jun 12.
