Mangalore, Jun 15: Through a press release, the State Konkani Language Minority Educational Institutions’ Association has formed that Konkani Bharati, the Konkani language text book of the language in the primary school has been made available in the schools.
The association member schools in DK, Udupi and Uttara Kannada have already introduced optional Konkani, the release stated.
The textbook has been prepared in both Kannada and Devnagri Scripts and has been submitted to the Konkani Textbook Action Committee constituted by the State Education Department.
