Udupi, Jun 16: A leading cable operating firm’s control room at Malpe beach near here was recently raided, for airing Zee Turner channels illegally.
Zee Turner had filed a complaint in the High Court at Delhi on June 1, against the piracy and illegal business being carried on by the said cable operating firm owing to which it has incurred huge loses.
K K Sharma, commissioner of the court with the help of local police, carried on the raid at the control room.
The cable firm had the rights till December 21, 2005, to air Zee Turner channels. Later since the firm violated the rules, the signals were prohibited.
