Big B clocks six years of blogging


Mumbai, April 22 (IANS): Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has completed six years of sharing updates on his day-to-day routine and thoughts with his "extended family" on his online blog.

"It's the sixth anniversary of the blog. Six years without a single day being left out," Big B posted on his Twitter page.

The 71-year-old's first tryst with blogging began on www.bigb.bigadda.com. Later, his blog shifted to www.srbachchan.tumblr.

The platform has brought him closer to his multitude fans in and outside India. He keeps them engaged with updates on his projects, family, views and photographs.

Amitabh is also an avid user of micro-blogging platform Twitter.

VJ Andy, young Akshat to compete in 'Jhalak...'?

Video jockey Andy and child talent Akshat Singh are likely to dance their way onto the "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7" stage.

The two talents are yet to sign the dotted line, but a source says they will be on board soon for the new season, which will go on air on Colors.

While Andy's popularity went several notches higher with his appearance on "Bigg Boss - Saath 7", young Akshat Singh was noticed for his Bollywood moves in "India' Got Talent". Akshat, all of eight, even went all the way to Los Angeles to shoot for "The Ellen DeGeneres Show"

Other names floating for "Jhalak..." include Purab Kohli, Mouni Roy and Karan Tacker.

Chirpy and bubbly Bollywood actress Evelyn Sharma has only good things to say about her "Main Tera Hero" director David Dhawan.

"He is so sweet. He always tried to make everyone comfortable on the sets," said Evelyn, who features in the recently released entertainer with Varun Dhawan, Ileana D'Cruz and Nargis Fakhri.

The half-Indian and half-German actress has signed her first solo movie "Dannk" recently and she is kicked about it.
