Mel C doesn't want to get Botox addiction

Los Angeles, April 22 (IANS): Singer Mel C says that while she is a Botox fan, she's trying to limit the number of injections she takes as she doesn't want to get addicted to them.

The 40-year-old is not against having the injections to get rid of wrinkles, reports contactmusic.com.

When asked how often she has Botox, the singer said: "It depends... every couple of months, I only have a little bit... I don't want to get addicted. Surgery is going too far, you see so many people who can't see properly anymore. Not too much, just a little bit here and there."

Mel C has never hidden the fact that she goes through these procedures. The singer wanted to be honest with her fans and said that she doesn't see anything wrong with it.

"Why not have Botox, it's not permanent. I thought I'd give it a go, I'm not ashamed to say it. I think it's probably quite good to be honest about it, a lot of the images in the public eye are quite unrealistic and it's unhealthy for people to think that's unnatural when it's not," she said.
