Islamabad, May 16 (IANS): Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Friday congratulated BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi for winning the Indian general election.

Sharif telephoned Modi and expressed his best wishes, Radio Pakistan reported.
