Mangaluru: Lorry-scooter crash at Baikampady claims 39-year-old rider's life

Mangaluru, Nov 2: A 39-year-old man died in a tragic road mishap when his scooter collided with a lorry at Baikampady on Monday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Imtiyaz, a resident of Kadike in Haleyangadi. He was employed as a driver for a shipping company.

The fatal accident took place while the victim was heading towards his office in Panambur. Following the crash, locals immediately rushed a severely injured Imtiyaz to a private hospital in the city. However, he succumbed to his injuries as he failed to respond to medical treatment.
