Seven injured in Pakistan blast


Islamabad, May 16 (IANS): At least seven people were injured when a bomb went off near a police vehicle in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province Friday. No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack, Xinhua reported.

Police said unidentified people had planted the explosives in a motorcycle in Bannu district.

The Improvised Explosive Device (IED), planted in a motorcycle, targetted the police vehicle when it was on its routine patrolling in the city, bomb disposal squad officials said.
