Moodbidri, Jul 14: A state-level sports meet for higher primary, high school, pre-university and university will be hosted and conducted by the Alvas Education Foundation here.
In preparation of this event, the office of the sports meet was inaugurated here on Wednesday by Fr Francis Xavier Gomes, principal of St Philomena College, Puttur. Foundation chairman Dr Mohan Alva presided over the function.
Block education office Cyprian Monteiro was the chief guest on the occasion. Principal Ratnakar Rao was also on the dais. Shivaram welcomed the gathering.
