Mangalore, Jul 15: Joylus D'Souza of Moodbidri Mahaveera College has been elected as the president of the DK unit of the Mangalore All College Students Action Committee.
K Karthikeya Madhyasta of Bhandarkar's college, Kundapur has been elected as the president of the Mangalore All College Students Action Committee.
At the elections held on Friday, the office bearers were installed during the programme.
Addressing a press meet later, foundation President Shanti Prasad Hegde said college representatives from various colleges of DK, Udupi, and Coorg districts had participated in the election.
The committee will fight for the cause of the students and work towards generating employment opportunities.
