Mangalore, Jul 18: Recognizing the talent of sixteen-year-old Dhanaraj, a mentally challenged student of St Agnes Special School who has been selected to take part in the Special Olympics to be held at Beijing in October 2007, St Aloysius College honoured him recently.

Through Sahodaya, the forum of students for empowerment of persons with disabilities honoured Dhanaraj on the occasion of the inauguration of the activities of the forum for the academic year 06-07.

Principal of the college Fr Eugene Lobo presided over the programme. Director of Sahodaya Charles Furtado was also present.

On the occasion, the news letter of forum to mark the sixth year of operation was also released.
