Mangalore, Jul 22: A youngman hard-pressed by financial problems ended his life by jumping into a well near Swami Ayyappa Temple at Yekkur here on Friday July 21.
Manjunath (33), a resident of Yekkur had not come home after his work on Tuesday July 18. Though the family members tried to find out about his whereabouts they did not succeed.
Amidst this some passers by noticed Manjunath's body in a well near Swami Ayyappa Temple at Yekkur. This well is in the property of one Bhoomanna.
The body was removed from the well in the presence of Kankanady police on Friday afternoon.
A complaint has been filed by one Chandrahas with the Kankanady police in this regard.
