'Drishya' gets positive response

Bangalore, Jun 23: Ravichandran starer 'Drishya' has opened to good response in box office. The movie was released on Friday June 20 across many theaters in Karnataka. The movie is the remake of the Malayalam blockbuster 'Drishyam' which starred Mohan Lal.'Drishya' is directed by P Vasu.

The story is about a cable operator Rajendra Ponnappa[played by Ravichandran], who dreams about owning a theater in his town. He is a movie freak. He has a small family consisting of his wife and two daughters. The first half moves smoothly establishing the characters. Post interval, the film takes a dramatic turn when his wife and daughter fall into a trap. The rest of the film is how Ravichandran outwits the police investigators and saves his wife and daughter.

The casting of the film is perfect. Ravichandran, Achyuth Kumar and Navya Nair are perfect in their respective roles. The background music by Iliyaraja is excellent.

'Drishya' is a wonderful film that is ought to be watched in theaters.
