Mumbai, June 25: Summan R Agrawal, secretary Maharashtra Pradesh Congress took efforts to congratulate this year's SSC students who passed out with flying colours and arranged for a meet with honourable education minister Rajendra Dardaji at his Malabar Hill residence.
Summan R Agrawal congratulated Rajendra Dardaji for making innovative and constructive changes in the education system of Maharashtra Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
Ganesh Zodape, Gaurav Kambli and Vishal Movale were a few students who come from economically weak background, but still made a niche for themselves in the SSC exams. Ganesh Zodape lost his father long back and his mother does odd household jobs. Vishal Movale is a gardener’s child but is brilliant in studies.
Dardaji spoke to the children and said that he comes from a humble background and had done his schooling from municipal and zilla parishad in Yavatmaal. Later he moved to Mumbai and for further studies to London. He congratulated the children for their high scores and gave his best wishes for their future.
The Education Minister presented a book titled 'Vibrant Vignettes" written by himself, to Summan R Agrawal for her selfless service to society.
The students were grateful to Summan R Agrawal who said that they would have never got an opportunity to interact with the education minister without her efforts.
The students who were honoured and given an appreciation certificate by the minister. The students were Pramod Chaudry, Dhruv Goyal, Viraj Faria, Darshan Sanghvi, Sanil Dalvi, Gaurav Kambli, Ganesh Zodape, Ritik Mangla, Anthony Pereira, Agnelo Periera, Vishal Movale, Shreya Gokhale, Pratha Mangla and Simran Sanghai.
