'Ek Villain' collects Rs 50.70 crores

Mumbai, Jun 30: 'Ek Villain' has collected Rs 50.70 crores in its first weekend. Mohit Suri directed 'Ek Villain' has the second biggest weekend opening of 2014 after 'Jai Ho'.

The movie collected Rs 16.72 crores at the domestic box office on its first day. On its second day, the movie collected Rs 15.5 crores and on the third day the movie has collected Rs 18.48 crores.

'Ek Villain' has been appreciated for its plot and music. The movie has already got huge profits for Balaji Motion Pictures as it is made on the budget of Rs 25 crores. With such huge collections in its first weekend, the movie has big possibilities of joining the 100 Crore Club.

'Ek Villain' stars Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead role.
