Bangalore, Jul 2: Sharan starer 'Jai Lalitha' has opened to great response across Karnataka. The movie was released across 150 theaters by Thoogudeepa Distributors last Friday. The film had around 80 percent occupancy in its first weekend across Karnataka.
The movie is made on a small budget and is sure to recover its production cost within a week. With 'Jai Lalitha's success, Sharan will join the list of top actors in Kannada industry.
'Jai Lalitha' is a remake of 2012 Malayalam film 'Maaya Mohini'. The Kannada version is directed by Pon Kumaran, who has made many changes in the screenplay from its original version.
The movie is made under the production house Indira Productions. The movie also stars Harish Raj, Ravishankar Gowda and Disha Pandey in pivotal roles.
