Bangalore, Jul 2: Sandalwood actor Ganesh turns 34 today. Ganesh will be celebrating his birthday with his fans today in his residence.
Ganesh rose to fame in Kannada film industry with 'Mungaaru Male'. The movie broke all records upon release and made Ganesh a superstar.
Ganesh went on to star in many blockbusters like 'Cheluvina Chittara', 'Hudugaata' and 'Gaalipata' after the success of 'Mungaaru Male'. He was considered the number one actor at one point of time.
Ganesh's unexpected success made him select bad scripts and this lead to his downfall. The number one actor of one time was struggling to get a good opening for his films. He gave successive flops like 'Bombaat', 'Sangama', 'Yeno Onthara', 'Kool' and others.
After giving so many flops, Ganesh decided to concentrate more on the script and director before finalizing the film. This act paid dividends and he was back in form. He gave two back to back big hits through 'Shravani Subramanya' and 'Dil Rangeela'.
Ganesh will be next seen in 'Khushi Khushiyalli'. His 25th film has been titled 'Buguri' and will be directed by M D Shridhar, who also directed his first film.
