Mumbai, Jul 9: Ram Kapoor is the highest paid small screen actor. He is paid around Rs 1,25,000 per episode, which is the highest given to any actor. Ram was last seen in Ekta Kapoor's 'Bade Acche Lagte Hain', in which he was paired opposite Sakshi Tanwar who gets around Rs 70,000 per episode. Ram decided to quit the famous TV show, as he wanted to concentrate on films.

Ram Kapoor was recently seen in Sajid Khan directed 'Humshakals'. The movie was thrashed by critics. But the movie impressed the general audience. The movie did a business of around Rs 70 crores. Ram was praised by everyone for his triple role act. He was especially praised for his female get up look.

Ram has decided to concentrate on big screen for time being. He aims to become a top character artist on the lines of Boman Irani.
