Sujatha S Shetty Talipadiguthu passes away after bus accident

Mumbai, July 12: Bantara Sangha Meera Bhayandar local committee women's wing executive president Sujatha Satyananda Shetty (54), who was accidentally thrown out from the bus she was traveling and was undergoing treatment at the intensive care unit of a private hospital at Mira Road, passed away on Friday July 11 night.

A group of women from Bunts Women's wing were on the way to Virar Garden Resort from Mira Road East Shantinagara by private bus on a picnic. Sujatha who was distributing cake to co-passengers when the bus was moving and was giving it to the driver when she lost balance and was thrown out through the door on the tar road. Her head hit the road and had serious brain injury. She was immediately rushed to the hospital.

Sujatha, hailing from Talipadiguthu, Kinnigoli was the wife of Mudkooru Angadiguthu Sathyananda Shetty and was employed in Kotak
Mahindra organization in the city. She was staying in Rameshwardham in Bhayandar. She has left behind her husband, two daughters and a large number of friends and relatives besides social workers.

Bunts Sangha Mumbai president C A Shanker B Shetty, women's wing executive president Latha P Shetty, deputy executive president Lata Jayarama Shetty, honorary chief secretary Chitra R Shetty, Mira Bhayandar local committee executive president Shivarama Shetty, women's wing vice presidents Sumati Shetty and Suguna Shetty, secretary Shilpa Shetty and other office bearers of Karnataka Sangha Bhayandar and members expressed their deep condolences on the demise of Sujatha Shetty.

Many people rushed to the hospital after hearing the news. The body of the deceased will be kept for public homage at New Golden
Nest, Sonam Garden Housing Society, Bhayandar on Saturday morning, July 12 and will be cremated at Mira Road crematorium said the son-in-law of the deceased, Mermankiguthu Ashok Pakkala (Malaysia).
