Indian kidnapped in Afghanistan safe: Sushma


New Delhi, Sep 8 (IANS): External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj Monday said Indian aid worker Alexis Prem Kumar, kidnapped in Afghanistan in June, is safe and efforts are on for his early release.

"Alexis Prem Kumar is safe and efforts are on to get him relased," she told media persons here.

The 47-year-old Prem Kumar of NGO Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) was abducted in Herat province in June while he was visiting a project site.
