Abu Dhabi, Oct 23: India Social & Cultural Centre (ISCC) will conduct ‘ISC 3rd UAE Open Throw ball Championship 2014’ at ISC premises, Abu Dhabi on Friday, Oct 31 from 8:30 am onwards.

The earlier two editions of the tournament held at ISC were very successful especially due to high level of sportsmanship displayed by reputed teams. All the top reputed throw ball teams from all over UAE are expected to take part in this year’s championship.

The championship will be organized in a professional manner, in which the technical officials will officiate the tournament and the matches will be played on ‘League-Cum-Knock out Basis’.

The tournament will be conducted outdoor for both gents and ladies category. Each team shall consist of nine players and maximum three substitutes. The tournament is open only to Indian residents in UAE.

Awards for the championship are as follows:

1. Cash prize and team trophy shall be awarded to the team securing the first place and second place.
2. Individual trophies will be awarded to the team players securing first and second place (maximum 12 players including substitute per team).
3. The following individual awards will also be presented namely best smasher award, best defender award and best al-rounder of the championship.

Lunch and First-Aid facilities will be provided to participants on the day of the competition. The copy of rules and regulations and further details regarding the championship will be sent to all the teams who confirm their participation.
Last date for confirming your entries will be October, 25 2014.
