Gammath Kalavider UAE to rock the stage with comedy entertainer 'Yeddduppuga'

UAE, Nov 1: Gammath Kalavider UAE, an amateur Tulu stage play troupe after a huge success with their previous Tulu plays is once again coming up with yet another Tulu comedy and social stage play 'Yeddduppuga' which is written by G Krishna Manjeshwara of Sharada Kala Arts Manjeshwara. It will be staged on February 13, 2015 at the Emirates theatre, Sheikh Zayed road to mark the fourth anniversary of Gammath Kalavider UAE.

Towards the gesture of committment for the society, this year also the Gammath Kalavider will be donating the surplus collection received from the drama to “Spandana”, a home of rehabilitation center for mentally challenged adults in Udupi district. This service is being done from past three years by the Gammath Kalavider.















Muhurtha for the new drama was held on October 31 at 11.00 am at Grand Hotel by Fortune group,Al Qusais. Harish Bangera patron of Gammath Kalavider, Shantharam Achar president of Karnataka Sangha Sharjah, Mark Denis patron of KSS, Harish Sherigar of ACME building
Materials, Premnath Shetty of Heat Sheild Industry and other dignitaries were the part of this ceremony.

Raghu Bhat,a well-known purohith of UAE performed the 'Muhurtha pooja' in a unique universal way of seeking blessings of almighty, which had no religious barriers.

A noted, successful, creative and multi-talented personality Vishwanath Shetty will be directing the drama 'Yeddduppuga'.  Vishwanath Shetty briefed about the upcoming Tulu drama. He requested full support and co-operation from the sponsors and Tulu drama lovers for success of the upcoming drama.

Rajesh Kutthar compered the programme elegantly and Suvarna Satish concluded the programme by rendering vote of thanks.

    Since four years,Gammath Kalavider in UAE has been entertained audience with thier talents best of thier ability with humor,the art of living,value of life and culture of Tuluwas,the ceturies old,the most adorable language of all community fron Kanara rigion.
