Ganiga Samaj gets new office at Kurla East

Mumbai, Dec 2: The Ganiga Samaj, which has been serving the community in Mumbai for the past 18 years, inaugurated its new office at Gulraj Towers, Nehru Road, Kurla East on Sunday November 30.

Sadananda Shetty, executive president, Reliable Group Builders and Developers, inaugurated the new office after cutting the ribbon.

In a simple ceremony presided over by Ganiga Samaj Mumbai president Jagannatha M Ganiga, founder member Nagesh S Balimane, social workers Jayakrishna A Shetty, G T Acharya, Chandrashekar R Belchada, and Dr Ramadas Dhaman were the guests of honour. Padmanabha Sasihitlu, Balakrishna Bhandary, J M Kotian, and Chitrapu K M Kotian who were present as guests conveyed their best wishes.

Subrahmanya Udupa Bajpe Jerimeri and Raghavendra Pothi conducted ‘Vastu Pooja’, ‘Ganahoma’, and ‘Satyanarayana Pooja besides distributing ‘Theertha Prasada’. Padmanabha N Ganiga and Ratna P Ganiga alongwith Vinayak Bhatkal and Rachana Vinayak led the religious programmes.

Former honorary chief secretary Shanker Hanehalli, ‘Samparkasudha’ monthly magazine president U Balachandra, Vidyodaya committee executive president Vijayendra Ganiga, Sadananda Kalyanpur, Devendr Rao Katpadi, Gopalakrishna Ganiga, Shantaram Moorthy, P N Ganiga, Gangadhar Ganiga, Kalinga Rao, Dinesh N Rao, women's wing’s Tara Bhatkal, Asha Harish Thonse, Shubha Ganesh Kutpady, Shobha Ratnakar Shetty, Mamatha D Rao, Suma Rajesh Kutpady, Arathi Ganiga, Veena Dinesh Ganiga, youth wing’s Ganesh Kutpady, Rajesh Kutpady, Jagadish Ganiga and other members of the Ganiga community were present.

President Jagannatha M Ganiga welcomed. Vice-president Ramachandra Ganiga and Bhaskar M Ganiga, and honorary treasurer Chandrashekar R Ganiga presented flower bouquets to the guests and honoured them. Honorary chief secretary B V Rao compered the programme, introduced the guests, and proposed the vote of thanks.
