Abu Dhabi, Dec 11: A native of Kanhangad near Kasargod lost his life in an unfortunate accident which occurred at Abu Dhabi, UAE, on the night of Tuesday December 9.
The deceased has been identified as P M Basheer (40) from Kalichinadka. As per information received by his family members in Kanhangad, he was killed after a vehicle hit him when he was returning from Sharjah.
It is gathered that he had been working in Abu Dhabi since the last 19 years. He had visited his native place about eight months back, sources added.
