Mumbai: Jaya Suvarna felicitated by Dr D Veerendra Heggade

Mumbai, Dec 23: "When one renders the service to society with dedication and honesty, the society recognize him . Karnataka government has accordingly presented Jaya Suvarna with the Rajyatsava award. Every person who has positive attitude and selfless goal will prosper. Jaya Suvarna is the best example of this. People from everywhere and every religion have come here to congratulate him" said Dr D Veerendra Heggade, the Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala.

Dr Heggade was speaking in a function in Kandivili west where Jaya Suvarna with his wife Lilavathi Suvarna was felicitated.

D Nityanand Kotian presided over the function. Vinaya Kumar Sorake, the district in charge minister of Udupi district and Borivili MP Gopala C Shetty were present,

"Respecting the elders is Indian tradition. This is the honour for entire people of Tulunadu." Heggade added.

Jaya Suvarna replying to the felicitation said that B Janardhana Poojary was a role model for all the achievements of himself and that of the Bharat bank which he is heading. He thanked the directors and staff of the bank who helped him to achieve his goal.

During his presidential address Nityanand Kotian said that "I am happy to be present here when Suvarna is honoured and also happy to be the president of association where Suvarna was president for years."

Vinay Kumar Sorake during his speech said "This is historical programme where a giant is felicitated. The value of the award has been enhanced now by bestowing it on Suvarna."

Gopala Shetty said "I thank Karnataka government which gave the award to Jaya Suvarna. Jaya Suvarna is not only a Tuluva but a great social worker. Suvarna should also become a member of parliament soon."

The whole programme was staged in a very traditional way.
