At around 7.15 pm on Sunday, a Mahindra Bolero vehicle that was coming from the direction of Kota Junction swerved to extreme left when negotiating a small bend near the brick kiln at Uplady. In the process, the vehicle, which did not have any registration number, hit an auto rickshaw being driven by Shankara Marakala towards Kota from Achlady.

Adarsh, I apologize if I have hurt your feelings. I did not intend to do that.
In your response you have acknowledged that carelessness with Auto Drivers does exist, however pressing its reason. It is exactly this carelessness compounded by its practice by lakhs of Auto drivers that causes the issue I raised. While slow moving Autos may not be directly implicated in many accidents sadly there are no statistics of the number of accidents to faster moving vehicles such as motorbikes, cars and others that were caused as a direct result of an auto drivers carelessness where the auto driver left the scene quite ignorant of the issue caused by said carelessness.
Recklessness if practiced by some, does not give everyone the right to repeat the same. Just my two paise.

Mr.Prakash I Totally agree with your comment but at this moment u sound a little rude. I am also a rikshaw driver. I know that at times we drivers are a little careless and you will only know if you start driving an auto. we try the shortest routes, less waiting and minimum Empty trips....May be this is the reason why you feel we are a little careless. But in reality we do care. We also have family and children. There are lakhs of autos in india serving millions of passengers each day. Mr.Prakash how many accidents do you actually hear Each day? And for your kind Information in many auto accidents you get to hear that the opposite velhicle is at fault not the auto. Please Investigate, Analyse and post a comment. We drive safer than the rich people drive their private cars of course. We drive even more safer than your private and government buses. We never killed people like your construction and mining tippers do. Our autos are not crashing like the planes during these days. We are the first who come to rescue the public in accidents and emergency. We are the ones who you when you reach a town midnight. Now wht do you say Mr.Prakash?

Its tragic that a man dies in this incident but honestly it is difficult to have any sympathy towards Auto Drivers. They are quite simply the most inconsiderate road users and also quite simply one of the largest risks other drivers have to contend with.
