Men thrash couple, circulate video to shame woman


Mumbai, Jan 17 (DC): A young couple found in a secluded area in a village in Maharashtra was beaten relentlessly by a group of six men.

The ordeal went on for nearly five minutes when the woman was thrown on the ground beaten mercilessly by men belong to a group called ‘Ganimi Kawa' which means "Guerilla Warfare" and claim the right to moral policing.

The men also took a video of her on their phone and circulated on WhatsApp to shame her in the village.

The video was first found in local media and was reported to the police on Thursday.

Three of the six men have been arrested while the other three are still missing.

    these idiots think as if they have not done any crime in their entire life.
    firstly to hit a women like this its utter shameful act,wish if it would have been their sisters i dont think so these goondas would have hit her,and above all they are circulating the clips as if they are in the contention for bharat ratna award.
    definetly they should be put behind the bars.

    Who gives these people the authority to ask young couples for their identity cards and beat them up mercilessly. All these six guys should be arrested and put to shame by public flogging.
