Tumakuru: 11-year-old girl kidnapped, brutally raped, murdered

Tumakuru, Feb 25: In a shocking incident, a 11-year-old girl walking to her school from home was kidnapped, raped, and murdered on Tuesday February 24. The incident occurred at Hittalahalli near Kadirapura in Kunigal taluk in the district.

The girl, Shwetha, had not returned home from school on Monday evening. Her parents, who were overtaken by tension, searched for their daughter everywhere with the help of villagers, but there was no trace of of the girl.

In the early hours on Tuesday, some pedestrians saw the mortal remains of a girl abandoned in the outskirts of the village. They called the police, whereupon police personnel visited the spot and took the body into possession. The police said that in all probability, the girl was kidnapped from a deserted stretch that lies on the way from the girl's house to her school.

Shwetha was the second daughter of Shanthamma and Krishnappa couple from Ujjini village. She used to stay with her grandmother, Tulasamma, at Hittalahalli. She was a fifth standard student, and walked to and fro from school every day, which is located about two kms from her home.

The face of the girl had turned black, there were marks of blood discharge from her face, and her stomach bore scratch marks made by nails. The police suspect that the girl was raped all through the night in a brutal way.

A case stands registered in this connection. District additional superintendent of police, R Lakshman, has exuded confidence of arresting the culprits involved with this act soon.

    Good question! God has given a free hand for all to do whatever they want. As I had said earlier Satan is also active on earth, which means he has power to influence and tempt people to commit horrible crimes which includes even killing innocent children. Even miracles are performed by his evil power and innocents tend to believe these are from God. But this will not go on for long because God has set a time limit for Satan for challenging Him.     Regarding you question why the children are killed at a tender age?
    Good question. This life what we are living now is temporary lasting maximum 60 - 80 years. But the life that comes after this life is never ending. All those kids who died before reaching the age of 12 will living a comfortable life in heaven and that is indeed a great achievement. Our sole target of this life to achieve success in life after death. To achieve that you have to believe in Creator and follow his commandments so live peacefully and let other live peacefully.

    If God makes a blunder then He is no God. Therefore God did not make a blunder in creating man. He made him perfect when he created man but man was given a free choice as God did not create Robots. The greatest gift man has is the Power of Choice. God is not a Marxist to force His will upon man.God never forces anyone to accept His salvation.(Grace) Although man fell to Sin and his nature became sinful thereafter, God did not abandon man but he gave him a way out in paying the penalty for his sins if only he believes and repents. God is love and he will not condemn anyone because he is a sinner. If at all anyone is lost, it is not because he is a sinner but because he deliberately, willfully and ultimately says I do not want your free gift of salvation and eternal life and so God accepts his choice which is eternal damnation.
    Definitely it is man's blunder to create a god in his own imagination and bring him to his own level. it’s only in the judgment that God will reveal to the universe why He held back when such horrible things were happening on this earth . And so the Bible says in the judgment every knee will bow down, including Satan, and will confess that God is right.

    Dear Practical Thinker, when God created this earth and completed the creation, He said it is very good which means all creation was perfect in His sight until SIN came into this world due to disobedience. This earth is groaning with sin. All of human kingdom, the animal kingdon and the plant kingdom are marred by the effect of Sin. All the bad things that you see happening in this world is the result of sin. It is merely cause and effect. You cannot blame God for this. You need to blame ourselves. Sin has overpowered our reasoning and man has given himself into the hands of the adversary who has perverted the minds of the people and their hearts have become continually evil and wicked. Soon, God will put an end to this wicked world in which we are sick and tired to hear such ugly happenings as to this Young Girl.God does not interfere into every happenings in this world such as the holocaust, the WW I&II, the inquisition, 9/11, poverty, sickness,death etc. But we who know God are waiting for the New Earth and New Heavens in which there will be not more tears, no more pain, no more sin and no more death. All these former things will pass away and there will be Peace and joy in heaven. So in the present world until sin is wiped out, you will continue to see and hear such of these terrible happenings. These things will increase as we near to the end of this world. We are very near and even at the edge of this world's history. So look up as our redemption draweth nigh and our Saviour will come soon to redeem His Sheep. So God is only in the business of Seeking and Saving the Lost so that they will enjoy eternity.     I just cant think and mind is not working when I read the brutal way of mshandling this girl.Tears are blocking my eyes.That wicked fellow,a real satan on the earth must have hit her head on Stone thats why blood stein frommouth.That so headbones are not developed or hardened,had no Chance against that animal.My God.I feel pity for the Family,who knows how much that angel suffered in his Hands.Does in future any girl has Courage to walk that way again?or woman?All villagers should get together and find him and make a short process.No excuse for what he did for Family and girl.Who says where is God ?there is God everywhere.only he cant help everywhere .He let other People to help another .May the Soul of that angel be with other angels above.May HE gve enough strenght to the Family to bear their sorrow over the loss and brutal way she died.Govt.must help this Family ,compansate.RIP.The fellow should be caught,otherwise there is danger to other Girls He is Sadist.may be one of Family member?Had he fear that the girl will reveal him ,thats why killed.?

    This is seriously horrible. when police find culprits punish him by cutting down important part of this man and ensure he can never ever think of having sex in his life. Or tie him to a pillar in public view and leave the dogs/rats around him to eat him around the place. You do this to one or two culprits in such cases, am hopeful, rape crime rate might come down.
    If we continue to give it a deaf ear, a blind eye & a dumb voice, these rapes on our minor children or females will continue. Let our officials out their children in place of these victims, how would they feel? Why do men behave worse than animals. ! Just because they can go Scot free?

    Neither I supported Congress or condemned BJP. See my other comments than comment. I told in India any Government either Congress or BJP , they don't have intention to take any steep action against the accused in Rape, corruption etc. Our courts also release them on bail.     No, death is an end to a rapist's misery. He should be let to live but with inability carry out sexual activity. His tool should be severed with provision just to pass the urine.

    He should suffer unending urge of wanting to have sex but his physical condition should not permit him to do that.

    In India there may be Government who will give 'z' security protection to Cows.... and when some one rapes in that house and those security people will tell that we are kept only to protect the cows not human beings.

    After reading the news about this child I cant stop thinking and crying for this little child. How much the child might have screamed and cried with pain before she died.What must be her parents plight and agony of knowing that their baby is no more and had to face this kind of incident and death.
    Kill those rapists cause if they are not caught they will continue their disgusting acts on more innocent lives and children..
    Young girls at that age are very vulnerable to men and even boys are molested and abused.
    I cant help but mourn for Swetha and cry with her parents.

    Make a National ID compulsory to everybody, with blood sample to trace DNA. Even traces of sweat should be lead to the culprit.

    With advanced technology, I am sure this is not out of reach ! We need a civilized society, with just a few rouges carrying such brutal acts, its not correct to blame the entire men-flock. Today its this poor man's daughter, tomorrow it could be any of our child !

    Even if convicted the criminal will get maximum 7-12 year if its first offense....( Not death penalty like in GCC countries or life imprisonment like in USA ).....

    In case if he got death penalty it will waived off by SC due to delay
