Bikaner, Jan 27: Drona the film directed by Goldie Behl starring Bollywood biggies like Abhishek Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra seems to be under trouble even before its release.
The director is facing an unusual problem not with the actors or producers but with animals. A horse died on the sets while shooting on Thursday at Kolyath in Bikaner. The Bishnoi community lodged a complaint with two independent NGO’s namely People for Animal and Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
According to the NGO’s, the horse was buried without a post-mortem. However the producers beg to differ and claim that there was no cruelty towards animals. Infact they hadn’t even started the shoot and weren’t there for enough hours to be cruel to animals.
