HYSEA launches new initiative for start-ups

Hyderabad, March 26 (IANS): Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association (HYSEA) on Tuesday launched a new initiative to foster innovation by start-ups through design reviews and mentoring.

Under the initiative named "Dr. Design", the apex body of software exporters of Hyderabad will help early stage start-ups by having their product reviewed and critiqued by prominent designers along with design inputs and advisory without any charge.

The core panel of "Dr. Design" includes eminent tech and design experts including HYSEA president Ramesh Loganathan.

At an event, the panellists interacted with top 10 start-ups on their design approach.

HYSEA also awarded International Institute of Information Technology-Hyderabad (IIIT-H) the best Incubator award.

"Through Dr. Design we are planning to guide 3 start-ups in every session-per week or 12 start-ups in a month," said Loganathan, who is MD of Progress Software.
