Mangalore, Feb 26: The city has seen major development in recent times and has become the hub for IT and hospitality investments worth hundreds of crores. A lot still needs to be done to put the city in the map of developed cities, thereby calling for a need for well-designed plan for further development.
With this in view, Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry will organise a programme of an address on ‘Infrastructure Plan for Coastal Karnataka’ by V P Baligar, principal secretary, state Infrastructure Development, Bangalore.
A press release stated that the programme will be held on Tuesday March 6 at 11.30 am at the meeting hall of KCCI Exim Facilitation Centre here.
KCCI president John Prasad Menezes, vice-president Kumble Narasimha Prabhu, honorary secretary Srinivas S Kamath and other office-bearers will be present.
