Kundapur, Mar 1: Nature has its own ways.  It is at its wonderful best when man does not hinder its process.  This is clearly evident in this particular case of Uppinakudru near here.  An 8-month-old sapling which has begun to yield coconuts has caught everyone by surprise.  Local farmers and even other people all are astonished to see nature freak this way.

However, this wonder has a pretty rare history too.  People were caught unawares in the beginning itself when they saw coconut tree with 5 saplings.  Out of these only 3 saplings survived in the later days.  Now 2 saplings have started yielding coconuts.  These saplings which are just 2 feet high are attracting the attention of the local people and also the agricultural experts.

Meanwhile the yield is too small compared to the yield by a fully-grown coconut tree.  The chances of survival too are very less, opine experts.
